NEOGOV Analytics Dashboards

 

We are delighted to introduce the newest addition to NEOGOV's Dashboards: the Time & Attendance dashboard.

The Time & Attendance dashboard offers comprehensive visibility into the distribution of time and labor costs. This powerful tool is designed to significantly improve compliance, ensure payroll accuracy, strengthen budget control, and support highly efficient resource allocation.

This dashboard is currently accessible to select agencies, with a planned expansion to all users in Q1 2026. Please refer to the attached release notes (Analytics & Reporting Release Notes, December 2025) for more details.

 

Time and Attendance Dashboard

 

The Time and Attendance dashboard - Timesheet Totals is designed to provide users with comprehensive insights into timesheet data, supporting accurate tracking and management of employee work hours. With intuitive visualizations and flexible filtering, the dashboard enables organizations to monitor time allocation and optimize workforce management.

Access to the Time & Attendance dashboard requires two conditions: 

  1. The user must have access to the Time & Attendance product because the dashboard aggregates data from it. 
  2. The user must have access to A&R.

Key Dashboard Features

 

  1. Timesheet Totals – By Time Code

This table displays the total hours or amounts recorded for each time code (such as regular hours, overtime, or leave).

Customer value: enables users to analyze how time is distributed across different categories, supporting compliance, payroll accuracy, and identifying trends in time usage.

  1. Timesheet Totals – By Cost Centre

This table presents the total timesheet entries grouped by cost center.

Customer value: provides visibility into labor allocation and costs across organizational units, helping managers control budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and identify areas for improvement.

By analyzing time by cost center and time code, organizations can optimize staffing, control costs, and ensure resources are used effectively.

Detailed timesheet data supports accurate payroll processing and compliance with labor regulations.

  1. Customizable insights

The dashboard includes a filter for Entry Date, allowing users to focus on specific time periods and tailor the analysis to their needs.

 

 

Enhanced Public Report Management for HR Admins

 

NEOGOV has introduced enhanced capabilities for HR Admins to manage public reports for both Perform and Onboard reports. These updates grant HR Admins full control over public report handling, ensuring they have the information needed to stay informed and effectively assist their employees.

 

Note: Public Report management capability was previously only available for recruitment reports. We plan to extend this option to all HCM products by the end of the quarter.
 

Public Report Management Permissions

 

To gain the ability to edit public reports, users must be assigned the following permissions:

  • HR Admin role in Perform - required to manage Perform public reports.
  • HR Admin role in Onboard - required to manage Onboard public reports.

Note: Removing the HR Admin role from a user will also revoke their ability to manage public reports.

 

Report and Subscription Management for HR Admins

 

HR Admin  now have comprehensive control over public reports and their distribution:

  • Public report actions: easily view, edit, and delete existing public reports to ensure they meet your organization's needs.
  • Subscription management: take control of how and when report updates are shared. HR Admins can now create, view, edit, and delete subscriptions for public reports, providing greater flexibility in distribution and access configuration.

HR Admins cannot edit or delete standard reports for Onboard or Perform.

These enhancements increase transparency and efficiency in report management for HR Admins, empowering them better to support their teams with real-time access to necessary data and report insights.

Users with the HR Admin role in Perform/Onboard 

 

Example

  • Maria, an HR User, created the Onboard report public. Jake, an HR Admin, was able to edit this report and update the subscription originally set by Maria due to his permissions.
  • Even after John, an HR User, was terminated, Jake, an HR Admin, could locate and successfully remove the subscriptions associated with John's public reports.

 

Analytics 

 

NEOGOV is pleased to announce the implementation of an enhanced search functionality within the Analytics module, designed to streamline the user experience by enabling efficient dashboard discovery for users.

 

Search Functionality

 

A new search feature is now available, designed to allow users to easily find dashboards:

  • The search capability can be accessed directly from the left menu, providing a quick and intuitive way to locate dashboards.
  • Users can search using dashboard names, with support for wildcard searches to accommodate partial inputs and broader search queries.
