2023 Federal Form W-4

Hi Onboard users!

Due to the holidays, our team will be deploying the 2023 W4 form to UAT on Tuesday, December 27th. The Production deployment for the 2023 W4 is currently scheduled for Tuesday, January 3rd. There are only three changes we will be making to the Standard W4. They are:

• Changing the background image to the new 2023 form version
• Changing the "Employer's name and address" field from single text to multiline text with 500 characters as the max input length
• Increasing the max input length for Middle Initial from 1 to 3 characters

All customizations done on the 2022 W4 will be copied to the new version of the form. These include but are not limited to: custom form permissions, form workflows, overrides, predefined field values, field names, and form locations.

Please remember that all standard implications of creating a new form version that are related to Onboard checklists, eForms processes, and outstanding forms and form tasks will be respected when we release the new version of the W4.
