2023 Federal Form W-4 Now Available in Production

Hi eForms users, 

Friendly reminder that the 2023 Federal W4 Form is now available for use in production.

There were only three changes made to the Standard W4. They were:

• Changing the background image to the new 2023 form version
• Changing the "Employer's name and address" field from single text to multiline text with 500 characters as the max input length
• Increasing the max input length for Middle Initial from 1 to 3 characters

All customizations done on the 2022 W4 have been copied to the new version of the form. These include but are not limited to: custom form permissions, form workflows, overrides, predefined field values, field names, and form location.

Please remember that all standard implications of creating a new form version that are related to Onboard checklists, eForms processes, and outstanding forms and form tasks were respected.
