Issue Resolved

When a process was running and the previous step's notifications were sent, a concurrency issue caused the next task step to not get assigned, leaving the process stuck in "In Progress" with no current or pending tasks.

A data fix was applied to re-trigger the missing notification so the next step could be assigned and the process could continue. Code improvements were also implemented to reduce the likelihood of this concurrency race condition recurring.

When an HR Admin configured notification email settings to send to a specific employee group and saved, reopening the settings flyout showed a blank value — only the checkbox appeared selected but the group name was lost.

Fixed the notification email settings so that the selected employee group recipient is correctly saved and displayed when the settings flyout is reopened. Verified on staging.

When a "Set By Date" process was created with a future assignment date, kept inactive, then activated after that date had already passed, the process was incorrectly assigned to users even though the scheduled date was in the past.

Fixed the activation logic so that when a "Set By Date" process is activated, the stale NextAssignmentOn date is recalculated based on the schedule. If the assignment date has already passed, it is correctly recalculated to the next upcoming date, preventing premature assignment.

It seems this is still occurring. We have an open Enrollment process that had been running just fine for up to 2 weeks. The process has not been editted or updated. However, after one step in the process where a notification is sent to employees, the next stop does not get assigned, and it’s leaving the process in limbo. How can we get this resolved asap?
