CAAS Accreditation standard 106.01.01 - Credentials states, The agency shall maintain current credentialing documents as required by federal, state, local, or agency authorities. More specifically it asks the agency to identify which credentials are required to be maintained by each provider level:

And suggests the following examples =

  • EMT Certification
  • Other Professional certifications and/or licenses
  • National Registry
  • APPLICABLE DRIVERS LICENSE
  • MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD
  • Continuing Medical Education

Question being - What is your agency doing for a drivers license check?  How often are they checked (annually, a year before they expire, every 2 and/or 3 years?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.  I love this innovative way to network and help each other in accreditation.
