Resume Now Saved to Job Seeker’s Profile and Reusable During Applications
When a job seeker uploads a resume during account creation on GovernmentJobs or SchoolJobs career pages, that resume is now automatically saved to their profile. The saved resume can be reused by job seekers while submitting future job applications, reducing friction, especially for mobile users or those without immediate access to their resume. This is our first step in improving application quality and making the candidate experience more seamless, especially for those applying on the go. Stay tuned for more and more exciting enhancements.
Why It Matters for Employers
- More consistent application data: Candidates are less likely to submit incomplete applications due to missing resumes
- Higher application completion rates, particularly from mobile users
- Reduces errors or delays caused by repeated uploads or forgotten files

| Scenario When Issue Encountered | Issue Resolved |
|---|---|
| When job seekers searched for jobs on the career pages, the location filter labels did not match how locations were configured in Insight. Specifically, for certain locations containing apostrophes and parentheses, the first character after the closing parenthesis appeared in lowercase on the career page filters, even though it was correctly capitalized in Insight’s Admin Settings | The location filter display logic on the career pages has been corrected so that location names now respect the exact capitalization configured in Insight. |
