How to I create a new assessment based off archived assessment I wasn't a part of?

Hi!

I am new to the accreditation manager role. I can see the archived assessment, but soon I will have to start a new one. I think to start a new assessment from an archived assessment and copy the attachments, I have to have been assigned to the archived one, but I wasn’t. 

So how do I do this? Do I restore the archived assessment, add myself, and then archive it again?
