I inadvertently moved a “group” from the “all users” folder, in doing so, it now appears as an individual user in the “all users” folder. How can I undo this and move the “group” out of “all users” as an individual user and back into “all users” as a “group”?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve already tried dragging the “group” (Police Department) out of the individual user list and dropping in on the “all user” folder with all the other groups. It merely put the “group” (Police Department) back in as an individual user.

I think I can help half-fix the issue.

You can manage the All Users group and uncheck Police Department as a member.

I don’t know where the Police Department group would go after that though, if it isn’t anywhere else. I would hope that it would still exist just outside of All Users but I have never encountered an issue where I couldn’t drag it out.

Do you use a sync tool for your groups and users? Maybe you could use the sync tool to remedy the issue?

@DAVID.W12  - @Jaclyn.L  is correct. Using the members tab of the all users group, deselect the radio dial box associated with the PD group and upon saving it will push the group back out as a parent group on your blue side bar menu.

Great job @Jaclyn.L !
