Resolved Issue with Recurring Enrollment for Associated Learners
We’ve resolved a major issue impacting recurring enrollments for association-based assignments. In some cases, recurring enrollments for courses assigned through associations (such as positions) did not re-enroll all eligible learners on the scheduled date.
As a result, only a subset of learners were re-enrolled, even though many were included in the course’s associations. This created gaps in expected training assignments.
With this fix:
- All learners included in course associations are now properly evaluated during recurring enrollments
- Every eligible learner is automatically re-enrolled on the scheduled date as expected
To address previously impacted records, we are performing a phased data cleanup. Due to the volume of records and the number of organizations affected, this process will be completed in batches over the next several weeks.
As part of this cleanup:
- The Enrolled Date will reflect the actual date learners were intended to be enrolled, ensuring accurate historical records
- Learners who are re-enrolled will receive standard course enrollment notifications
- Administrators and any configured notification recipients may also receive these notifications
These notifications reflect corrected enrollments and may include course instances that should have been assigned earlier. No action is required—this is expected behavior as we complete the cleanup process.
