2024 W4 Release Dates
Hello!
Last week, we made an announcement regarding the availability of the 2024 Federal W4 form on the IRS website. There are no notable changes on the new form besides some text and the tax brackets provided on page 4. This new version of the W4 will be made available first in UAT and then in Production. Here are the release dates:
- UAT: Thursday, December 28th, 2023 (end of day)
- Production: Monday, January 8th, 2024
For your convenience, all customizations made on the 2023 Standard W4 will be copied to the new form. This includes your form permissions, form workflows, overrides, and the form location.
Please remember that all standard implications of creating a new form version that are related to Onboard checklists, eForms processes, and outstanding forms and form tasks will be respected when we release the new version of the W4.
