Scenario When Issue Encountered Issue Resolved

Accessing the Rating Form and attempting to view an employee’s job description/class spec when the “Display job description in evaluation” setting is set to Class Spec.

Agencies without Insight were not able to view an employee’s job description/class spec on the rating form. We implemented a code fix to disregard whether an agency has Insight.

After a manager change, a new manager attempts to access a rating step for a direct report.

If an employee’s manager updated scores and comments but did not submit their rating, and then that manager was changed, an error in the backend prevented new managers from submitting ratings, even though they had access to the rating step. We implemented a code fix to prevent these errors from blocking new managers from accessing the rating step.

Certain managers were unable to add goals or competencies to evaluations.

It was found that if an employee’s reporting hierarchy formed a cyclic structure (such as a department head reporting to their direct report, who then reports back to the department head), the system generated a generic error message. Cyclic reporting structures are still not permitted, but we implemented a more descriptive error message so customers can resolve these issues independently.

Using the Bulk Print feature to print evaluations where an employee refused to sign

It was found that if an employee refused to sign, a signature still appeared when the evaluation PDF was produced via Bulk Print. If the evaluation PDF was downloaded individually, the signature did not show as expected. We implemented a fix for the Bulk Print scenario.
