Enhanced Location Selection in Job Creation and Updates
The full address of the location now displays when administrators or employers are creating or managing jobs.
Value
When agencies have multiple sites with similar or identical names, selecting the right location can be tricky.
By displaying full street addresses alongside location names in Job Creation and Update Forms, you have more visibility to ensure you’re selecting the correct location.
Audience
This enhancement is available to Administrators and Employers who manage job postings.
Enablement and Navigation
PowerDetails automatically enables this feature for all users who have access to Create or Update Jobs. You don’t need to perform any additional setup or system configuration.
- To access location selection for a new job, navigate to Jobs > New Job.
- To access location selection when modifying an existing job, navigate to Jobs and select the Job Update screen for the desired posting.
Examples and Use
Updated Dropdown Format
When selecting a workplace on either the New Job or Job Update screens, the location drop-down menu now displays detailed information for every site attached to your selected employer.
- Standard Display Format: Drop-down menu items are formatted as: [Location Name] - [Street Address], [City] [Abbreviated State] [Postal Code].
- Locations Without Addresses: If a specific location does not have an address on file, the dropdown will simply display the location name without any address text.
Considerations
- Personnel View Unchanged: This formatting update is specifically limited to the New Job and Job Update screens. The personnel view already provides location and address visibility, so its layout remains unchanged.
- Employer-Specific Data: The locations and addresses shown in the drop-down menu automatically pull from the sites already linked to the employer selected for the job.
