Power Policy - Release Notes - 6.39.0 - Aug 20, 2026

New / Updated Features

  • We have added the ability to ‘Include’ users and / or groups for AI Chatbot Search. 
    • Previously, administrators were only able to exclude users / groups from accessing the AI feature. 
    • Now administrators can choose to either Include users / groups, or Exclude users / groups.  NOTE: You cannot both include and exclude. It is either include, or exclude only. 

Bug Fixes / Security Updates

  • With the rise of AI capable models, we have placed major focus on correcting all security based issues reported to us through third party dependencies and internal code audits. 
    • We continue to work diligently to address and resolve all known / reported security vulnerabilities to help you and your organization remain compliant.

Login and UI Look and Feel Update

  • There was a plan to move all Power Policy customers to the new login and UI look and feel with the release for tonight, August 20, 2026.  Original Posting
    • In evaluating that change, we are opting to push it out at least two weeks. 
      • We want to ensure the switch is low impact for you and your users, and are completing increased testing to ensure the move has no negative impacts on your organization.

    Hello, This is great news! I just want to confirm something before I make any changes. 

    I created a specific test group for the AI Chatbot, “Policy AI Test Group” which has only 5 member. My question is, if I include only this 1 test group, will it in fact give the 5 members access, or is there a legacy group that needs to be included as well?

    You can just include that single group, then click save. That should give only those group members access. If they don’t see the chatbot icon, check your ingestion status as well. We have made small change that will keep it hidden until the first ingestion of documents completes successfully. If you’ve already run an ingestion, then you’ll likely see it right away.
