2.36 Release Notes
Release Date : Sep 3, 2026
Bulk Actions for Cards and Decks
- Cards and decks can now be selected in bulk and acted on together instead of one at a time. At the card level, administrators can bulk copy or bulk delete selected cards (delete only applies to Draft-status cards; Published/Scheduled cards in a selection are skipped). At the deck level, administrators can bulk archive, pause, unpause, publish (now or on a scheduled date), boost, and stop boost across multiple decks in a single action.
- Bulk publish and bulk schedule intelligently evaluate each card inside the selected decks — Draft, Pending Review, and Scheduled cards move forward, while already-Published or Archived cards are left untouched.
- Copying cards out of an archived deck now requires choosing a different, active or paused destination deck, since archived decks can't hold new draft content; the copies land as Drafts in the destination deck and the original archived cards remain unchanged.
Difficulty Rating Now Optional
- Site administrators can turn off the post-answer difficulty rating prompt that normally appears after users answer a card. When disabled, users are no longer asked to rate difficulty — the system automatically assigns a middle-of-the-scale rating so spaced-repetition scheduling continues to work normally. This is an opt-in, site-level setting under Quiz Settings tab; the default remains "on" unless an administrator changes it.
Multi-Select Click Behavior
- In grid view, a single click anywhere on a card or deck now selects it, and a double-click anywhere on it opens it — rather than requiring a click on the centered text as before — for more predictable, file-browser-like interaction.
