Time Code Configuration on Request Forms and Timesheets
Our summer update brought a change that affected the visibility of Time Codes on both employee request forms and timesheets. Activating the "Hide on Employee Time Off Requests" option in the system would also hide the Time Code as an option on timesheets.
Based on feedback, we've improved this functionality to provide more customization options. Now, the visibility of Time Codes can be independently configured for request forms and timesheets. Here’s how you can manage these settings:
For Request Forms:
- Go to Admin > Time > Time Codes.
- Select the desired Time Code.
- Use the toggle "Hide on Employee Time Off Requests" to decide whether this Time Code can be used for time-off requests.
For Timesheets:
- Access Admin > Time > Work Rule.
- Select the appropriate Work Rule.
- In the Time Codes tab, specify which Time Codes are available for entry in both Employee and Manager views of the timesheet.
This update allows you to configure Time Codes to better suit your operational needs, ensuring that they are available in the right contexts.

Functional
| Scenario When Issue Encountered | Issue Resolved |
| Employees encountered errors on their timesheets when the Start and End times were marked as required fields. These errors occurred specifically when the Time Code Basis was set to something other than hours, such as dollars or specific holiday codes. | Time & Attendance makes exceptions for time entries where the Time Code Basis is not based on hours or when the entry corresponds to a Holiday without specified start and end times. Timesheets may be submitted without prompting errors. |
| Users experienced an issue on the Leave Balances screen where no employees were displayed. This prevented users from viewing or managing leave balances for their teams. | This issue was addressed through a hotfix applied on 10/20. The system has been corrected to ensure proper loading and display of employee data on the Leave Balances screen. |
| There were instances where users noticed approved leave lines appearing duplicated when separate timesheets were created for employees with multiple assignments. This led to discrepancies in reported leave and potential processing errors. | The system now appropriately displays leave on the Primary Assignment timesheet, ensuring that approved leave lines are recorded accurately without duplication across separate timesheets. |
