Leave Policy – “Max Worked Hours for Calculation” cap for standalone Time & Attendance
Overview
Admins using Time & Attendance as a standalone product can now optionally configure Max Worked Hours for Calculation when the Entitlement Frequency is set to Occurs During Timesheet Processing.
When this value is populated, the system caps the eligible worked hours used in leave entitlement calculations (so employees do not accrue based on hours worked beyond the configured maximum for the pay period). If the field is left blank, no cap is applied.
This behavior is supported for both:
- Service Level – Prorate by Time Worked
- Service Level – Percentage of Time Worked
Value
- Prevents over-accruals when employees work unusually high hours in a period.
- Aligns standalone Time & Attendance behavior with existing behavior when Payroll is present.
- Provides configurable, policy-driven control over which worked hours count toward accruals.

Leave / Time & Attendance Administrators
Leave Entitlement – Use Pre‑Termination FTE for Final Pay Accruals
Overview
For leave policies that prorate entitlement by employee FTE, employees who are terminated during a pay period will now correctly accrue based on their pre‑termination FTE on their final paycheck (when processed via Payroll).
Previously, when termination set FTE to 0 effective before the pay period end date, the system could reduce the calculated entitlement to 0 for that period. With this change, the system detects this scenario and instead uses the FTE as of the termination date, so the final accrual is still granted.
This change primarily impacts UPCALC (payroll-based entitlement) configurations.
Value
- Prevents lost accruals on final paychecks when termination sets FTE to 0 mid‑period.
- Aligns entitlement with customer policies that intend employees to earn their full, prorated leave through the date of termination.
- Reduces manual adjustments by ensuring correct FTE is used in the original calculation rather than having to add one-off corrections.

|---|---|
| The timesheets export selection list of values for the File Layout included form definitions from all Agencies. | The file layout list of values has now been secured to the user’s agency. |
| The Schedule to Time and Attendance API created scheduled shifts in Time and Attendance regardless of the employees work rule effective date. | The API has been improved to reference the scheduled employee’s work rule effective date for the source of the schedule. |
| The Work Rule screen was missing the Cancel and Save button after a change. | The Cancel and Save buttons are now available after data changes. |
| Shifts created in Schedule with a cost center that was not defined with a distribution are missing on the employee’s timesheet. | All cost centers with and without distributions are now visible on an employee’s timesheet. |
| Overtime requests for dates before a current pay period are not included in the current pay batch. | Historical overtime requests included on a current time sheet can now be included in the same pay batch. |
| After a Leave is entered and cancelled a second request is entered for the same period and is not showing on the Unified dashboard as requested. | The unified dashboard will now show a leave regardless of previously cancelled leaves for the same dates. |
| Overtime conversion rates were rounding to 1 decimal. | Two digit accuracy is now considered during Overtime conversions. |
