Modernized Checklist Print Layout

As part of our ongoing Final Report Modernization initiative, we have updated the print functionality for both the Investigator Checklist and the Applicant Checklist. Printed or downloaded checklist documents now seamlessly match the updated design, typography, and professional formatting of the modernized Final Report.

How it Works

  1. Navigate to the Applicant File and select either the Investigator Checklist or Applicant Checklist tab.
  2. Review or update the checklist items as needed.
  3. Select the Print button located in the top-right toolbar of the checklist view.
  4. Vetted will generate a styled PDF preview using the modernized Final Report template design, complete with refreshed headers, standardized typography, and structured grid lines.
  5. Print directly to your local printer or save the output as a PDF for electronic archiving and distribution.

Value

  • Brand & Document Integrity: Eliminates visual discrepancies between standalone printed checklists and the full Final Report package.
  • Professional Presentation: Delivers a clean, polished layout for review boards, hiring panels, and administrative audits.
  • Reduced Confusion: Ensures a uniform reading experience regardless of whether a checklist is printed individually or viewed within the complete final report.

Audience

  • Admins
  • Investigators
  • Custom Roles with permission to access or print checklists

Example

  • The Standalone Audit Review: An Admin needs to print just the Investigator Checklist for an internal quality assurance check. Selecting Print generates a cleanly styled PDF that mirrors the exact look and feel of the newly modernized Final Report.

Webform Response Notifications for All Assigned Investigators

Previously, when an applicant’s reference or contact submitted a completed webform response, only the specific user who initiated the correspondence request received an automated notification. We are expanding automated webform alerts to ensure that background investigation teams stay completely in sync! Investigators no longer need to manually monitor the Correspondence tab to check whether a reference or external contact has submitted a requested webform.

How it Works

  1. A reference or external contact receives and submits a requested webform.
  2. Vetted instantly generates an automated email.
  3. The system identifies all Investigators assigned to the applicant file and dispatches the email notification simultaneously to each investigator.
  4. Any assigned Investigator clicks the notification link to log in to view the response.
  5. The Investigator reviews the response and advances the investigation without needing to manually poll the tab for updates.

Value

  • Eliminates Manual Checking: Investigators no longer need to repeatedly check the Correspondence tab throughout the day to see if a reference responded.
  • Faster File Turnaround: Immediate visibility allows background investigators to review reference feedback the moment it arrives, keeping the hiring pipeline moving forward fast.
  • Seamless Collaboration: Ensures all assigned team members are aware of newly returned background evidence, regardless of who originally sent the request.

Audience

  • Admins
  • Investigators
  • Custom Roles provisioned with page-level Correspondence access.

Example

  • Co-Investigated Applicant File: Investigator Smith sends a reference webform to an applicant's former employer. While Smith is out of the office on field interviews, the employer submits the completed webform. Co-assigned Investigator Davis receives an instant notification, reviews the response immediately, and keeps the file moving without losing a day.
