Please see the list of courses that will be retired on August 29, 2025. Their replacements are listed here as well. Please be sure that any Learning Plans are updated with the course replacements and remind users currently in progress to complete the course(s) prior to the retirement date.

Additionally, as previously mentioned in the Learn Release Notes we will be making some important updates to many of our highly used courses. This includes adding Closed Captioning, improved screen reader functionality, and on-screen contrast levels that meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1, Level AA. The updates to these courses will also occur on August 29, 2025. Please remind users currently in progress to complete the course(s) prior to the 29th to avoid issues during the update process.

Sorry if this is a dumb question.  We just rolled out Learning Plans a couple of months ago.  For the list of updates, specifically Distracted Driving, do employees need to finish the courses that are being updated prior to August 29th?  Or is that only for the courses that are retiring/being replaced?  Thanks for your help!

Not a dumb question at all. Yes, any users enrolled in the courses to be updated should have them completed by the 29th. Users in progress during the time of the updates may experience issues and need to be dropped/re-enrolled. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Another potentially dumb question. Will an updated course automatically update in our system? Or do I  need to “add” it again?

Still not a dumb question. 😁 You will not need to add it again. It will automatically update. 

Thank you!  And those that have a “not started” status will automatically be dropped and reenrolled?  Or is that a manual process?  Thanks so much for your quick replies and assistance!

​@melissa.jackson No, this would only affect users currently in progress. If a course has not been started prior to the scheduled update, that user would see the updated course when it is launched.

We use the Harassment Prevention for Employees condensed version - did this one get updated as well?

​@bmacferrin Yes, it is among the list courses to be updated August 29. To be safe, double check the attached lists to determine if you are using any other courses.
