Scenario When Issue Encountered Issue Resolved
When administrators used the Report Builder to generate a Course Activity Report, they found that certain learner records were missing from the results. This occurred most frequently when attempting to view historical training data for individuals who were inactive or had moved between risk pool member agencies. The reporting logic has been corrected to include inactive learner records and historical data by default. Administrators can now reliably retrieve and export full training histories for all users, ensuring accurate compliance tracking and reporting regardless of a user's current status or location.
When managing classroom courses in the Admin Catalog, administrators noticed a discrepancy between the enrollment count shown on the course details page and the actual list of participants within the classroom roster. This was particularly evident when viewing published class instances. The enrollment calculation logic has been updated to ensure the class preview screen and the classroom roster are perfectly synchronized. Administrators can now rely on the summary counts for accurate real-time reporting on course attendance and capacity without needing to manually verify the roster.
When managing the External Learners List, administrators would occasionally update a learner's email address and immediately send an activation email. While the email was correctly sent to the new address, the confirmation banner at the top of the screen would still display the learner's previous email address. The confirmation banner has been updated to dynamically reflect the current email address saved on the learner's profile. This fix provides administrators with clear and accurate confirmation that the activation link has been sent to the correct, updated destination.
When administrators viewed learner transcripts or generated Training Activity reports, they noticed that third-party online courses often showed a value for "Duration" but left the "Time Spent" field blank. This occurred for both historical records and newly completed courses, making it difficult to track total training hours for external content. The system now automatically populates the Time Spent field with the defined course duration for all third-party online courses. This fix applies to both existing records and future completions, ensuring that total time spent calculations and exported reports accurately reflect the training hours earned by learners.
When learners viewed their dashboard metrics, they noticed that the Total Courses count included enrollments that had been cancelled or dropped. This led to confusion, as the summary number did not match the actual list of active courses the learner was expected to complete. The dashboard logic has been refined to exclude cancelled, dropped, and completed courses from the Total Courses metric. This update ensures that the dashboard highlights only active enrollments (such as those "Not Started" or "In Progress"), giving learners and administrators a clear and accurate view of their current training requirements.
This issue occurred when an administrator removed all existing courses from a learning plan before adding new ones. In this specific sequence, the system failed to process the new registrations for existing learners, leaving them assigned to the old, removed courses instead of the newly added training. The registration process for learning plans has been improved to handle bulk course updates more reliably. Administrators can now clear and replace courses within a plan with confidence that existing learners will be correctly transitioned to the new curriculum without manual intervention.
This issue occurred when a learner was unregistered and then re-registered for a learning plan that had been updated to include different courses. In these cases, the learner would incorrectly remain enrolled in the previously removed courses while also being enrolled in the new ones, leading to an inaccurate training record. The synchronization between learning plans and learner enrollments has been improved. Now, when a learning plan is updated and a learner is re-enrolled, the system correctly removes outdated courses and only assigns the relevant training, ensuring a cleaner and more accurate user experience.
