Employments Audit Log
This enhancement allows users to view Audit Logs of the Employments Records.
This release will allow Admins to view Audit Logs for the Employments Records, including those added from the New Hire or Rehire and Edits made to the record. In addition you can restore a record after Unterminate or Cancel Termination.
Value
This change gives HR Admins better access to audit changes made to the Employments Records for each employee.
Audience
HR Admins.
Original Hire Date
With this release, we have enhanced the Original Hire Date. Previously, if you tried to update the Original Hire Date, it would only update that specific record. With this update, changing the Hire Date on the Original Employment Record controls the Original Hire Date. This change will then update all the other Original Hire Dates on the Employments page and can only be done with the oldest record.
Value
Several agencies requested this enhancement to update the Original Hire Date.
Audience
HR Admins.
Address Lookup for New Hire and Personal Tab
In this release, we've introduced address lookup functionality to enhance the accuracy of employee address information. As users begin typing in the Address Line 1 field, NEOGOV will suggest the appropriate address. Once an address is selected, the city, state, and zip code will automatically populate. If there is an apartment or unit number, it must be manually added to Address Line 2.
Additionally, this data will enable us to send the Tax Jurisdiction information to payroll. Utilizing geolocation based on the verified address, NEOGOV will automatically select the appropriate tax jurisdiction, eliminating the need to display this information on forms. As part of this update, the Tax Jurisdiction field will no longer appear on the New Hire form or the Personal tab within the Employee Profile.
Value
This enhancement increases the accuracy of the employee’s address and tax jurisdiction.
Audience
All users.
Total Compensation Statement Admin Access
With this release, we've introduced year-to-date access to the Total Compensation Statement within the administrative experience for clients using Payroll in HRIS. Additionally, we've added the Total Compensation Statement to the administrative interface, which will soon be available for employee access in a future release of the Unified Suite.
Administrators can access the Total Compensation Statement from the Core HR Dashboard and the Employee Profile. Accessing the Core HR Dashboard will initially display the total compensation for all employees in the agency, offering a comprehensive view without focusing on a single individual. By clicking the View More button, you can see detailed information at the agency level and print it. A search/drop-down field allows you to switch between employees without navigating to each Employee Profile.
The Total Compensation Statement is also available via the Employee Profile under the Total Compensation Tab. Here, it automatically defaults to the selected employee, eliminating extra clicks. This same view will become accessible to employees in an upcoming update to the Unified Suite.
Prerequisite Setup
You’ll need CRUD Permissions to view the Total Compensation page. These rights give access to the Employee Profile and the Widget on the Core HR Dashboard.
The NEOGOV Payroll Module is required to view the Total Compensation Statement.
Value
This is one of our most requested enhancements from clients, aimed at boosting employee retention by highlighting the agency's value to its employees. It enables the agency to demonstrate the total value it provides to employees beyond their salaries.
Audience
Administrative or users who have access to Core HR. Access at the employee level will be available at a future release.
