Notice Enhancements
Configurable Email Subjects
Emails sent using the Insight notice templates with a category of Candidate have historically defaulted to the job title of the relevant recruitment as the email subject. The subject is now configurable.
Configurable notice template subjects are only available for Insight and are not yet part of the OHC notice templates.

Value
This functionality provides flexibility, allowing the user to tailor their email subject to optimally alert and inform recipients of the email’s content.
Audience
Insight users who create email templates or send emails.
Viewing Sent Notices - Grid Improvements
Notices previously sent to an applicant are displayed in a grid, with each notice in a separate row. The wide grid, with the View link in the Action column at the far right, required a lot of horizontal scrolling each time to view the notice. The Action column has now been moved to the left side of the grid, making it easily accessible upon page access.

The following column headers were also renamed for clarity:
- Date Generated updated to Date Sent
-
Response Date updated to Date Opened
Value
Improved ease of performing this common activity.
Audience
Insight users who view sent notices.
Viewing Sent Notices - Attachments
If a user sent email notices with attachments, those attachments were previously not visible when viewing the sent email. The attachments now appear on the notice view and are active links for downloading as needed.

Value
Improved auditing ability to verify which attachment(s) were sent to the candidate.
Audience
Insight users who view sent notices.
Candidate Review Enhancements
Filtering on the View Results Page
On the View Results page for an evaluation step, Insight organizes candidates into grids such as Candidates Passed and Candidates Failed. If you are looking for a specific candidate, there was previously no easy way to find them in these grids. For steps with a high volume of candidates, this resulted in tediously scanning through page after page in the grid. We’ve added a search function to the Candidate and Person ID columns in the grid.

Value
Efficiency in finding candidate(s) of interest.
Audience
Insight users who view these results for evaluation steps.
Expanded Comments Box on Disposition Panel
When entering a disposition on the application detail page, the Comments box previously was to the right of the Comments label and only used about half of the width of the disposition panel. Because of this, longer comments required more vertical scrolling. We expanded the Comments box to use most of the available space in the panel.

Value
Less scrolling when viewing applicants.
Audience
Insight users who enter dispositions.
Application Printing Improvement
When printing applications in Insight, an application section with multiple records (such as multiple jobs in the Work Experience section or multiple schools in the Education section) visually runs together, making it difficult to see where a new record begins. Thicker borders have now been added between such records to create a more obvious distinction.

This update applies to these sections of the printed application:
-
Education
-
Work Experience
-
Certificates and Licenses
-
References
Value
Applications are easier to review when printed online or on paper.
Audience
Insight users who review applications.
Advanced Filters on Merge Lists
When an Eligible List advanced filter is shared, it is public and can be applied to other Eligible Lists. Previously, you couldn’t select this shared filter as an advanced filter on a Merged List. This gap has been closed, so the shared filter is also available for Merged Lists.
Value
Improved efficiency by eliminating the need to create redundant filters for Merged Lists when they already exist in the system.
Audience
Insight users who view and filter Eligible Lists and Merged Lists.
Online Hiring Center Enhancements
Top Navigation Section Updated
The Online Hiring Center (OHC) product, previously an exception outside the Unified Recruiting experience, has now been updated. This update aligns its design and functionality with the standardized area at the top of pages across all HCM products, a change we implemented earlier this year.
The Print Applications feature, previously located under the user profile menu, is now more easily accessible on the main menu bar.

Value
Consistency as you navigate between different NEOGOV products.
Audience
OHC users who frequently use the older OHC product, or those who use the newer Unified Recruiting experience, which still redirects to OHC for limited features (e.g., Settings).
Adding and Editing Non-Employee Users
In the Online Hiring Center (OHC), users can be added for employees and non-employees. But for organizations that implement NEOGOV HRIS, the ability to add or edit users in OHC was removed. This was because HRIS customers are expected to add and manage all users centrally in HRIS as the system of record, and let them flow to OHC.
The flaw in this model was the inclusion of non-employee users, who are sometimes required as SMEs or other raters. For Insight customers with HRIS, there was no way to add a non-employee user. This gap has now been closed, allowing such customers to add non-employee users in OHC.

Value
Provides the critical ability to add non-employee users.
Audience
Organizations with Insight and NEOGOV HRIS.
Terms and Privacy Links Moved
The NEOGOV Terms and Privacy links are previously displayed in the footer at the bottom of all pages. They have now been moved under the user profile menu, and the footer has been entirely removed.

Value
Consistent and easy access to this legal information when needed.
Audience
All users.
Job Seeker Enhancements
Seamless Sign-in with Google
Google Sign-In is now available across GovernmentJobs, SchoolJobs, and employer-specific Career Pages. This feature allows job seekers to securely log in or create an account using their existing Google credentials, removing the need to manage separate passwords.

Value
- Reduces login hurdles for job seekers by remembering usernames and passwords
- More job applications for the employers
Audience
This update is intended for all job seekers accessing GovernmentJobs, SchoolJobs, and Career Pages, providing a more efficient and secure authentication option.
Smart Recommendations for Jobs
In this Fall quarterly release, this feature is only available for early access testing by beta customers. We plan to make this enhancement generally available for everyone in the Winter quarterly release.
For job postings that are trending low for applicant volume, this AI-based feature will analyze similar jobs at similar organizations and suggest recommendations to adjust the qualifications and salary to improve your results. For example, you have a Project Manager opening trending low, which requires a minimum education of a Bachelor’s degree. Benchmarking for Project Manager openings at similar agencies reveals that most require only an Associate’s degree and are attracting better applicant traffic. This feature will recommend reducing the education requirement for your opening and forecast the expected increase in applications.

Value
Improved applicant volume for hard-to-fill openings.
Audience
All users with permission to view job postings are authorized.
