Hi Onboard users,

Our team is aware of the issue where HR Admins are receiving new email notices that your agency did not set up. This is related to a feature we are working on for the Fall release, but it was not intended to impact or be available in production accounts until October -- that is why you cannot find the email notices in your agency settings. Our team is working to resolve this so the emails stop going out. Until then, Onboard HR Admins may receive extra email notices for the following events:

  • When a prehire is archived
  • When a prehire is authorized
  • When a prehire is promoted to employee status
  • When an employee goes through a position change 
  • When an employee is terminated

I apologize for any confusion. We will also be launching an in-app message to proactively notify administrators about this issue.

That is correct, no other users / security roles besides HR Admin should be impacted by this.


What if I send a candidate thats in “pre hire” an activation email and NeoGov is telling them that they dont have access? How can they bypass this? should they reach out to NeoGov customer service?

They can contact us at customersupport@neogov.net or give us a call at 877 204 4442 to send them an administrative password / account reset. The link may be expired.


Hi all - this issue should have been resolved as of this morning and these emails should not be sent starting today. We appreciate your patience as we worked on this matter.
