New Feature/Enhancements
In this release you’ll find the following new features:
- Created a new section to view, filter, and sort indicators for individuals and the agency as a whole.
- Added a new permission allowing administrators to move workflows along the check-in process at any stage.
- Added the ability for Action Report linking to alerts and the data source.
Feature: All Indicators Table View with Permission Controls
This enhancement introduces a permission-based All Indicators table view within the PowerVitals. Users with View All Indicators permission can access the new table that displays all indicator data. Included in this feature is also an indicator table attached to the profiles of users with the same filters.
Value
Enables administrators to access and analyze all available indicator data in a centralized, filterable view– enhancing visibility, oversight, and efficiency in data-driven decision-making.
Audience
Administrators and employees with the “View All Indicators” permission.
Examples
- Admin with permission logs in, navigates to the Personnel section, and views the All Indicators table to see their Use of Force count for this year.
- Admin uses filters to isolate incidents involving Moderate trauma from CAD Notes Analyzer data sources within a specific timeframe.
Feature: Workflow Admin Permission for Universal Workflow Control
This enhancement introduces a new Workflow Admin permission that enables users to receive all steps in every workflow, including alerts, check-ins, and assist plans. This back-end functionality ensures users with this permission can act on any workflow step, regardless of their original assignment, provided they have the appropriate permission.
Value
Empowers designated administrators to oversee and intervene in workflows at any stage, promoting operational flexibility, faster response times, and better support for personnel without having to reassign tasks.
Audience
Administrators or designated staff with the new Workflow Admin permission.
Examples
- A Non-Officer with the Workflow Admin permission will be able to open an assist plan currently In Progress and see the Submit button with options like Can’t Complete or Send for Approval just as an officer would.
- A Workflow Admin is now able to see all check-ins and alerts at the top of the dashboard, clearly separated by actionable status. An officer’s supervisor is out of office and the officer needs to check-in on an alert.
Feature: Direct AR Linking from Indicators in Vitals
This enhancement introduces a hyperlink connection between indicators and their corresponding Action Reports (ARs) for users with appropriate permissions. When an indicator is associated with an AR, the AR ID is displayed and linked, allowing users (primarily supervisors and admins) to quickly reference key incident details.
Value
Streamlines access to incident-related documentation, allowing faster and more accurate decision-making. Reduces time spent searching for relevant ARs and ensures users are referencing the correct data.
Audience
Supervisors and Administrators with permission to view ARs.
Examples
- A supervisor reviewing an indicator clicks the AR ID hyperlink to open the full Action Report in a new view, rather than needing to locate it manually.
