Minor Changes to Form I-9

Hi Onboard users,USCIS just announced an update to the Federal Form I-9 on their website. The newest version of the Federal Form I-9 is backdated to have an edition date of January 20, 2025. The only notable change is that the fourth checkbox in Section 1 for immigration or citizenship has been renamed to “An alien authorized to work” from “A noncitizen authorized to work”.There are also two more minor updates to the description of some List B documents as well as the I9 form instructions.Please note that the E-Verify integration is not expected to be impacted by this change. Additionally, the changes involving E-Verify+ are not relevant to Onboard customers utilizing the E-Verify integration as E-Verify+ is not currently supported for integration services.Our team will work on making the I-9 form with the January 20, 2025 edition date available as soon as possible. Moving documents living in the "Documents" section of Power DMS to the "Assessment" section of Power DMS.

I have written and stored all of my policy documents in the “Documents” section of Power DMS. I am now ready to move all of my documents into the “Assessment” section of Power DMS and review them again prior to my on site visit and insert any attachments or proofs which I may need. Can anyone provide a step by step procedure as evidently I am missing something  to accomplish this task. I am missing something somewhere during this process of moving these documents and I can not figure out which step or steps I am missing.I would really appreciate any assistance you could offer

For the Participation field, select Required, which will show the new Auto-Enroll New Hires field and populate it. Select ON for the new field. The feature will automatically enroll a new hire into the default coverage of the plan with an Effective Date equal to their hire date. You must select Required from the Participation field.
